We’ve partnered with Project Art Works, a visual arts organisation working with people with complex needs, to showcase a collection of their unique artworks in a selection of our hotels.
Issue
To play our part in aligning to Force for Good, our corporate responsibility programme, we chose to focus on the ‘community’ pillar. Partnering with Project Art Works has allowed us to make a meaningful contribution to the customers and communities we serve, through showcasing their artwork stories in our hotels.
Insight
At Premier Inn, we believe that there is no barrier to entry and no limits to growth. By igniting the conversation between our team members and our guests about Local Art Stories, we’re able to demonstrate our passion for embracing inclusivity and diversity. Everyone and anyone can stay with us – it’s what we pride ourselves on.
Idea
Sharing eight pieces of original artworks across our East Sussex hotels and headquarters, we were able to provide a national platform for Project Art Works by telling their stories to our guests; creating meaningful connections, engagement and empathy. We held a private viewing event to showcase the artists’ works, shared the pieces and artist bios across our social media channels, created a subtitled film for our content page and educated our team members how they could become Local Art Stories ambassadors.
Impact
A successful campaign that ignited conversations between our guests, team members and Project Art Works, that demonstrated our passion for making meaningful contributions to local communities. Pieces from Project Art Works now hang in our new and upgraded Ultimate Rooms.
