Yota is a Russian mobile broadband services provider and smartphone manufacturer. Our challenge was to create a higher awareness of the brand and to attract new customers to interact with products displayed in kiosks set in shopping centres throughout Russia.
Idea
The campaign message ‘See Things Differently’ embraced the delights of seeing and doing things in another way. The pitch document was narrated in a conversation between Facebook friends and Yota – so highlights were communicated as if they had already been activated. To create additional content for the website and social pages, we encouraged people to submit their Yota 'moves' creating an hilarious human chain.
Impact
This was a successful pitch win for Engage Productions, defeating Poke Advertising who were the competing agency. The ideas were used as the hero Toolkit for future marketing launches of the YOTA brand.
